URGENT - Last 3 Days to register and submit Ideas for the MANTHAN 2021 Hackathon

Dear Madam/Sir,
As per the trailing mail from the MIC, the AICTE along with BPR&D is conducting Manthan 2021, a hackathon based on national interests and challenges faced by our intelligence agencies. The hackathon will be held in online (Virtual) mode, conducting the entire event online on a cloud based tool for non-stop 36 hours coding. Manthan is basically focused on certain categories including Image and Video Analytics; Sentiment Analysis; Natural Lang. Processing; Data Analytics; Fake Content Detection; and Cybercrime.
The competition is open for students studying in HEI's in India and for registered startups and Professionals. Hackathon will be executed in 5 steps mainly focused on evaluation and interaction between teams.
The hackathons will be organized digitally through an online collaborative platform. The participants don’t need to travel anywhere in the country. However, the participant team can work together in any suitable location best suited for a team. No travel expense to be provided in this regard.
Some important points related to registration:
· For College/University students, all team members should be from the same college/institute; no inter-college teams are allowed. However, members from different branches of the same college/ institute are encouraged to form a team.
· A letter issued by the college/ University on their letterhead stating the names of the team and team members will have to be provided.
· College/University photo ID is mandatory for participating in the finale.
· Prizes will be provided by the organizers for the winners with an amount of Rs. Rs.1,00,000/- Per PS for each of the College/University and Startups participants.
Some of the IGNOU students may be interested in participating in the Manthan-2021. You are requested to kindly circulate this information to the IGNOU students particularly the BCA and MCA students to visit the link: https://manthan.mic.gov.in/ and encourage them to register for the Manthan-2021. The last date is 10th October, 2021. They need to create a login id for their team and fill all the required fields and submit to participate in the hackathon.
